One of the few original Seventies-era skate parks in north London is to get three new ramps and repairs in a £50,000 overhaul.

The improvements this month will allow the 120 skateboarders, roller skaters and BMX-ers who gather at Harrow Skate Park each week to carry out ever more spectacular jumps.

BMX bike enthusiast James Hitchcox said: “The skate park in Harrow is unique because it was hand-sculpted. That makes it much more challenging.”

Will be finish around the end of april and celebrating with an bmx / skate jam.
