Last Friday a group of the Zeal guys rounded up at the Zeal HQ to set off for another amazing weekend ahead up north to hit up Hub jam.
9 bikes and 9 bmxers loaded up, the best weekend I have had for a long time was about to start.
While cruising up Josh Wyles and wing man Mike King decide to start the heat game which consists of turning the heating on full power and making the kids in the back with no windows to heat the fuck up and chunder.
We arrived at Larry’s late, tired and sticky, well I did don’t know about the pricks in the front. BMX DVDs then straight to bed it was for many of us.
Waking up to the sound of rain is always a bummer but especially when u have travelled 4 hours to ride a new outdoor course. So after 3 hours of debating what indoor park to ride we headed to Rampworks. As we expected it was busy but still managed to have a good ride.
Saturday night party at Larry’s, don’t want to get into detail but I am sure everyone has access to Facebook so check out the photos there.
Sunday morning waking up in a hotel is always good but even better with sunshine beaming through the window.
Rounded the troops up and got to hub in time to all sign up. The course was dry and the sun was out but along with a gale, which I guess everyone just had to man up and take it!
All the guys’ rode well, I had the pleasure of witnessing Sam Ward ride and my god that guy is amazing and took 3rd place.
To top of the weekend Alone’s Ben Manuel finished up 2nd winning himself £500 smackers and if that wasn’t enough for the zeal team, Isaac James Peter Hadley Lesser finished 1st and bagged himself a £1000 big ones, he hasn’t got no excuses to stop making it rain this year.
