How are you?
I’m pretty damn good thanks.
Where are you right now?
Chilling at home.
You had an exclusive DIG edit recently following a FFWD trip to America. Tell us more about that?
Well, myself and my good friend Josh managed to pick up flights to Arizona via Houston for £180, it was something anyone in their right mind couldn’t pass up. We spent two weeks in the blazing heat of Arizona, visited Vegas and a few parks as well as some street, before flying to Houston and having the bright idea to drive all the way to Ohio and back… In five days. It was pretty hard seperating myself from my bike long enough to get any worthwhile footage, and ironically, the park we rode the most (Chandler, Arizona), we got no clips at, that place is amazing! We had the time of our lives and can’t wait to go back. Thanks again to DIG for supporting the video!
You’re riding a bunch of BSD parts now through Zeal. How’s that going for you?
It’s honestly a dream come true; I had been with GT for almost two years beforehand, my TM was the nicest dude ever, but dealing with a company so big, it felt almost impossible to do anything that’s really going to be beneficial for the company, so it just didn’t feel right for me. Being a part of ZEAL/BSD is rad, it feels perfect, now I feel I can actually give something back, and help out the brand. Thanks again to James Hitchcox and Grant at BSD.
What’s next for FFWD BMX?
Not too sure, I’m putting a lot of effort into the site right now, posting new stuff every day and trying to get at least one video of my own out each week. There’s also a section now where anyone can post their own stuff, so it’s cool to see what other people are bringing out too. Other than that, it’d be cool to get some advertising going, and maybe expand out into stickers, apparel or even products eventually, who knows? I’m just toying with ideas right now.
What’s new in your life?
Hmmm, a ‘nice’ new car, dialled new bike, a hefty VX2100 camera… And an enormous debt.
What does your average daily routine consist of these days?
Wake up around mid-day, get pissed at the fact it’s raining once again, cheeky shower and cup of tea then straight to the computer! Finish off anything I’m working on then update the site with stuff that’s worth watching, pretty much sit at the computer for the majority of the day until it either stops raining or I can no longer handle the sight of Facebook, then look into riding somewhere, head to a skatepark via the nearest Starbucks and get a little session going with a few good people for a while before finding myself back at the computer and eventually into bed.
Is there one question people never ask you but you always wish they did?
Yeah, “Here, would you like some free money?”
Tell us something people might not know about you?
Haha, I’ll just try to think of a few random little things because I don’t have anything terribly exciting. I have never put a car through an M.O.T, I just buy new cars for £100 every year. It took me 6 years to man up and 360 a spine. My bike fell off my bike rack on the motorway a few years ago and I had to replace EVERYTHING! I can do tricks that DON’T involve a footjam… Sometimes. I am NOT related to Sam King! Also anyone that fell victim to my laser pen antics will be happy to know it got confiscated by the police.
If you were stuck on a deserted island, what 3 things would you take with you?
Probably my camera and bike, they’d keep me occupied for a while, ermmm, I really don’t know, if I could go shopping beforehand I guess I’d have a good look for a book on how to escape from a deserted island, that’d be a sensible idea.
Any plans for tonight?
More than likely ignore the weather warning and go for a drive in the snow, wrap my car around a lamp post and walk home… Standard friday night.

It appears that Mike Taylor, Tommy Gun and Nailz AKA Gary Nailer have found created an indoor spot to ride within the dark confines of the concrete jungle known as Wazza. Here’s their first edit from the spot.
